Hello everyone!
Instead of
a regular blog, for something as wonderful as The Sinful Sirens Hop, we have
decided to interview one of Dana Littlejohn’s sexy sirens. We would like you to
meet Sonja Winters, the main character from The Seven Year Switch.
DLB: How are you today
Sonja?
I’m well, thank you
DLB: I understand congratulations are in order on your new position.
Thank you. It took a little
adjusting, but I think I have the hang of it now. I hardly ever have to use the
paddle on him these days unless I feel like he needs it. He knows what is
expected of him now.
DLB: Oh my. Sonja, I think we are perhaps speaking of two different things. I was referring to the new partnership you were awarded at your firm. What are you talking about?
Oh! Forgive me. I misunderstood. I thought
you meant my relationship with Kyle. The firm, yes, thank you for that as well.
DLB: So, you spank your husband with a paddle?
Not that much. He knows his duties
now.
DLB: His duties? Okay, let’s back up. How did you transition into the new situation with Kyle?
I was trained by Bianca on basic
handling skills and then I tweaked it to fit us.
DLB: Bianca? Another woman taught you how to handle your man? Does that make her friend or foe?
Bianca is neither. She was merely a
tool to take us to the next level of our relationship.
DLB: I see. So does Kyle still have his own construction company? Or does his new role consist of taking care of the home and you directly?
I have allowed Kyle to maintain his
daily life. He needs structure and that helps, but when he is home his duties
are directed toward maintaining the home and my needs.
DLB: Wow. I have never heard of the flip in roles. Is this common?
The wife-led marriage is not as
popular as a traditional marriage, but it does exist. We are not alone in our
choice.
DLB: Wife-led marriage. Are you still his wife in the commonly understood sense of the word?
Yes, but I am his wife-mistress now.
DLB: That is a new term for me. What does it mean?
For us it means I am still his wife
in all sense of the word, but I am also his mistress in every sense of that
word. He bows before me and does my bidding and I reward and punish depending
on how he does.
DLB: So this isn’t one of those role-play games?
It used to be, but now it’s for
real, a life style.
DLB: Is it a secret?
No more than anything else that
happens within the privacy of one’s marriage. Outside of the colony only my
best friend knows.
DLB: Your friend Charlene. What does she think of the whole thing?
Charlene is very supportive. She
says if it works for us she’s happy for us, but it is not her cup of tea.
DLB: Well, I have to say Sonja I have learned a lot during this interview. I’m definitely more interested in reading your story to see how all of the changes in your marriage came about, too. Thank you for stopping and talking to us. What are your plans now?
You’re very welcomed. When you leave
Kyle will return to carry me to the bath he is running at the moment.
Kyle appears with a glass of chilled wine as we close the door on the interview with Sonja Winters.
Sonja
Winters enjoyed the good life with a great job and being married to the man of
her dreams. As she prepared to celebrate their seven year anniversary she came
across a secret her husband had kept from her. It would alter the course of
their marriage forever.
